WALTER AND ELISE HAAS FUND During the initial development phase (August 1, 1999 - September 30, 2001), this project received seed funding through a generous grant from the Walter and Elise Haas Fund of San Francisco, California. Walter A. Haas, Sr. and Elise S. Haas created the Walter and Elise Haas Fund in 1952. The focus of the Fund has been defined, in part, by a commitment to quality, ethics, integrity, and leadership. Professional Ethics, one of the Walter and Elise Haas Fund's new priorities, is an extension of this focus.
