This Journal Club will be a bit different - no readings, and with a discussion that doesn't start from the practice of science/research. We will talk informally about false autobiographies/fake memoirs and whether these are similar to research misconduct (fabrication) in science.
In thinking about what overlap, if any, there is between literature and science, we might ask these broad questions:
- In which realms are we (the public) owed the truth?
- In what ways are we (the consumer) possibly complicit in the generation of these falsehoods?
